I came to the Pines in search for Rehab since I was undergoing surgery for a Hip Replacement. Highly recommended by my Ortho and longtime friends l knew I had to take a look. Spanish, being my dominant language made communication a concern. But to my surprise, from the moment I arrived and throughout my stay, they had numerous bilingual members guiding me and making my Rehab and Skilled nursing experience worthwhile. Overall, the Rehab staff were phenomenal; they had me Walking in no time. Nursing staff was great and treatment was like no other. Food was wonderful and like we say in spanish: "Muy Rico". Everyone is compassionate, caring and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The Pines is just people and pet friendly and I am already thinking on coming here for my other Hip.

My mom is presently a resident of the Pines Rehab. She had been a resident now for three weeks. I must say I am extremely impressed. As a retired attorney I have seen my fair share of the elderly not being treated the way they deserve to be with dignity and respect. Let me tell you the nursing staff CNAs social Workers, physical therapists ,occupational therapists , dininig room staff all the way too maintainince have been outstanding. My mother came into the facility in bad shape weak and unstable. Let me tell you she is now able to move around walk with aid of walker and do all her basics. More importantly she is getting back to her old self again. I can't say enough about the staff they are the heart and soul of the facility !! Jennifer who is the Patient Conceirge goes over and above what you could ever expect. She helps with any problem and never makes you feel like you are bothering her, she takes pleasure in her job and always has a smile on her face. Bridget her OT, is kind compassinate and this is her God given purpose. Her speech therapist Theresa has helped in so manny ways and is so warm and genuine, activity director Marrissa has gotten my mom up and about again, getting her to come to activities and fun stuff. Nursing staff each and everyone I love them all they make you feel like family.

At the recommendation of our elder care attorney, my mother was placed at the Pines for Alzheimers several years ago. Throughout the entire time, her care was exceptional. The staff is loving, attentive and very supportive of her needs. We cannot recommend highly enough.

This review is specifically for the child care center. My daughter has attended the place for a month now and I'm very happy and surprised by the service. The staff is welcoming and warm. My daughter is only 3 months old so it's comforting to know she's in good hands. After a week she was able to recognize her teacher and she's content when I drop her off, pick her up or pop in during the day - which I love about the place - you can stop in and hang out with your child at any time. Her teacher has provided us with pamphlets to educate us on what developments to expect from our child. Also, around the holiday our child received a stuffed animal, a book, a homemade art (disguised as if she made it) and a holiday basket. That was so unexpected and delightful to receive.

My mother was admitted to The Pines skilled nursing facility and she received such extraordinary care that she showed a remarkable recovery that no one could have predicted! Everyone from Jodi in the admissions office to the janitorial staff was friendly, caring and professional. Every single person in nursing and dietary went above and beyond to see to it that she was well cared for in a respectful and thorough manner. I know that in the future, if there is a need for skilled nursing for any of my family members we will be using The Pines of Sarasota.
